What the site does
- It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- It runs no analytics and no trackers.
- It loads nothing from third parties: no fonts, no embeds, no images from elsewhere. Every request your browser makes goes to this site's own address.
- Because there are no cookies and no tracking, there is nothing to consent to, and so no banner.
Scripts
A few small scripts make some pages easier to use: they switch between an app's policies in place, show which section you are reading, copy a link to a section, open a screenshot at full size, offer a page in your language, close the language menu when you leave it, and keep your place in a page when you switch its language.
They only change the page you are looking at. They store nothing, not even a cookie, and send nothing, to this site or to anyone else. The page's Content Security Policy enforces it: scripts may come only from this site, and they may not connect anywhere. Every page works in full with scripts turned off.
Hosting
The pages are served by GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. St., San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. GitHub logs visitors' IP addresses for security purposes; how it handles them is described in the GitHub General Privacy Statement. I have no access to those logs and receive nothing from them. GitHub takes part in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission found to give adequate protection.
Writing to me
If you email contact@rackidev.com, I keep the conversation to reply to it and for nothing else. That is the only way any information about you reaches me through this site.
Why: only to answer you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering the people who write to me (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Writing is up to you: if you don't, the only consequence is that I cannot answer.
The mailbox is hosted by Zoho Corporation B.V., in Zoho's data centers in the European Union, which store the emails on my behalf. In rare cases, Zoho's support staff in India may access them, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. No one else receives them. I keep a conversation for up to 12 months after its last message, then delete it.
Your rights
You can ask at the same address for access to your emails and a copy of them, for them to be corrected or deleted, or for their use to be restricted, and you can object at any time to my keeping them. You will have an answer within one month. You may also complain to a data protection authority: in the country where you live, where you work, or where you believe the infringement took place. I am established in Poland, where the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl), which takes complaints in Polish; in France, for example, it is the CNIL.
Who is responsible
Filip Racki, an individual developer, publishes this site, answers for it, and is the controller, under the GDPR, of the personal information it receives. Questions about it go to the address above.
The apps' own policies
Each app has its own privacy policy:
